They don’t come fresher than this!

SAIC started vegetable production from the beginning of 2001 in Qatar.

In recent years, the company has made a concentrated effort to modernize the facility by adopting the latest technologies to conserve water, reduce the use of pesticides and increase the efficiency of the operation by maximizing output.

Through a combination of greenhouses, hydroponic systems and regular farming, SAIC grows a wide range of vegetables including tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, capsicum, strawberry and cauliflower among others. Some exotic vegetables such as seedless eggplant, Chinese cabbage, Korean radish and Holland-type tomatoes are also grown alongside.

All the production goes towards supplying the local demand through SAIC’s network of customers, which includes supermarkets, hotels and auctions at the wholesale market.
